HR and Legal Advice

New companies are often reluctant to seek legal advice until they have a problem.  Creating the right legal framework for a company, including:  company incorporation, employment contracts, liability insurance, terms & conditions and licence agreement creation can increase a companies legal protection and present a professional image to potential clients, partners and employees.

We can provide access to a variety of legal advice sources as well as drawing upon our own extensive business experience.  Through its professional network the Centre maintains close links with selected lawyers who can assist companies in developing their legal documentation or providing specific advice on legal issues.

Specialist HR professional support can also provided through the University's Regional Development Office. This can include advice on future recruitment, employment issues and training needs.

Legal, Employment and training advice is also available through the Centre's close links with Sussex Enterprise, the Learning & Skills Council (LSC), the Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Federation of Small Business (FSB).
