Electromotive bags largest order of recharging points

One of our tenants and Europe’s leading EV infrastructure provider, Electromotive, has bagged the deal to install about 1,300 electric vehicle recharging posts over the next three years, in north east England. This shall ensure the largest single network of Elektrobay recharging posts by the end of 2010. There are currently 165 fully functional Elektrobay charging stations around UK. Foreign Secretary gets Plugged in to Elektromotive

The Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, today visited SInC tenant company Elektromotive, a world-leading provider of electric vehicle recharging solutions. With the environmentally driven need to increase adoption and use of electric vehicles, Mr Miliband was keen to meet the team and learn more about Elektromotive and their drive to create a sustainable recharging network across the UK as well as internationally.

Established in 2003, Elektromotive is dedicated to designing and installing it’s Elektrobay recharging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Now Elektromotive has more than 250 Elektrobays in cities and shopping centres across the country, stretching from London to Glasgow.

Elektromotive has made impressive progress in extending its network and is now the UK’s largest supplier of recharging stations. Furthermore it has expanded its business into Saudi Arabia and across Europe – helping to establish the infrastructure to support electric cars in Ireland, Germany, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. Elektromotive Are Driving Brighton and Hove Forward

SInC based tenant Elektromotive is set to help Brighton and Hove deliver on its green promise, with the installation of ten electric car charging points in the city over the coming weeks. The first of which was installed last Friday in Batholomews in the Lanes. Brighton and Hove are the first city outside of London to install the charging points on public streets.
