The Made In The South East Awards are intended to distinguish manufacturing and engineering businesses within the South East region, who have excelled in innovation through product development, both locally and overseas.
The award is designed to publicise companies who are gaining recognition within their field, allowing businesses to raise their profile and develop a platform for ongoing success through the excellence of their products, procedures and employees.
This is an optimal opportunity for the promotion of your company, since winners are automatically shortlisted for Insider’s National Awards final, Made In The UK 2019, which can lead to national attention and acclaim.
These awards are entered by manufactures large and small. With nine categories they aim to embrace a wide range of businesses in the region:
- Digital Engineering / Technology Award
- Manufacturing Innovation Award
- Export Award
- Food & Drink Award
- Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer Award
- Manufacturing Apprenticeship / Training Scheme
- Apprentice of the Year
- Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m)
- Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)
A panel of experts put together by Insider will examine all submissions and elect shortlists for each category, with an announcement of the finalists in October. The winners will be revealed on Thursday 29th November at a black-tie awards dinner in Sofitel London Gatwick.
