Maddie and Mark Henson

In 2016 together with her husband Mark, they founded Henson IT, a tech company, who create all aspects of IT development from small websites to full apps and administration systems. Maddie will become Croydon's youngest Mayor in 2020. Maddie and Mark are busy balancing life and excited to share their secret to their success.

Progression People: The Energetics of Success - Why is it important to use both masculine and feminine energy to succeed 

Tammy McCann and Adam Pavitt are co-founders Progression People. They will enlighten us on how their mutual repect and flexibilty has helped them live the life they always dreamed of. 

After a corporate start to business life, Tammy retrained in Psychology, clinical hypnotherapy and energy work combined with life coaching…. then, at the age of 35, set up her own practice.

Adam’s background in running his own IT support business before later also training as a Hypnotherapist and Coach, under Tony Robbins, have given him the practical understanding and mindset to complement Tammy.

Tammy’s intuitive insight and wisdom supported by Adam’s ability create the necessary business processes has empowered their clients with both the practical aspects of business and the mindset necessary to make it a success.

GGT - How Diverse is your Universe

Georgina Thomas is the operations director for GGT Solutions. She founded GGT Solutions alongside her husband, Lennox, and has been in business for the past 10 years.

She is a passionate entrepreneur, and for the past seven years has been supporting start-ups and entrepreneurs to fulfil their potential in becoming successful business owners.

Lennox’ experience, education and comprehensive knowledge of business has endorsed GGT’s programmes and he continues to be the seed from which many new business relationships grow. 

Alpa Shingadia

Alpa is a seasoned businesswoman, her first business folded during the credit crunch, she then went on to build her second business, which she successfully exited from in 2013. Since that exit, she works as a business growth advisor.

Alpa has made it a personal mission to help other women achieve their goals no matter what their circumstances. She works with political parties and local businesswomen to access cabinet ministers and encourages women to take on local Government roles.

Shay Mukherjee

Shay works for a UK newspaper as a Data Manager and supporting the delivery of the data strategy. Mum of 2 boys (1 and 3), she's changed jobs on both maternity leaves, set up a community group, and is still brimming with business ideas.

She'll share her experiences of how gender balance came into play since becoming a parent, how employers can support new parents equally, and the various options you can provide your employees with to balance genders.
