"At the early stage of our business, the £5,000 IP grant we received through Sussex Innovation enabled us to get our prototype of the technology tested and form the outline for patent protection. Through the grant we were also able to benefit from the expertise of David Porter, who has helped and guided us to write our application for an Innovate UK Smart Grant. Without that support, our chances of success in the competition would have been seriously reduced."
