Dr Balaji Ganeshan, one of the inventors of the TexRAD medical imaging software developed at the University of Sussex, was interviewed by investor TV channel TipTV on Wednesday 5th November about the investment potential of Feedback plc.
Speaking to hosts Nick Batsford and Zak Mir, Dr Ganeshan discussed the growing medical imaging sector, which is estimated to be worth $32 billion globally in 2014, and the effect that Feedback plc's innovations could have in ushering in a new era of personalised treatment in healthcare.
The company is currently awaiting imminent FDA approval for its patented technology, which would open up opportunities to market as a clinical product in the US, China and India, and potentially have a transformational effect on its valuation.
TexRAD, a university spinout company launched to bring to market a radical new imaging software that can extract vital additional information from whole-body diagnostic images of patients with cancer and other diseases, was bought by medical imaging tools specialists Feedback plc in an £800,000 deal earlier this year.
The interview was organised with the help of Centre member Brand Communications, who support clients with an experienced team of traders, writers and analysts. Brand Communications works with TipTV to offer promotional and investment relationship opportunities to SMEs, and has also played a pivotal role in the success of listed small-cap companies such as Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO).
Brand Communications' multichannel investor relations offering incorporates Traders Own plc, also based at the Centre, who provide an online sharedealing platform, financial community and 'Company Corner' interactive pages to facilitate direct communication with active, trading investors. Traders Own are also in the process of launching a new crowdfunding platform, and will be working closely with the Centre in the near future to provide funding assistance to other member companies.
